The Surf
The coastline from Huatulco to Salina Cruz is mainly comprised with right-hand point breaks with picturesque beaches. Each of these sand-bottomed points has its own characteristics. There is a point to suit every style of surf, from heavy tubes to mellow rippable breaks this area has it all. The bulky headlands and curves of the coast allow for different waves to work on different wind conditions making it rare to find undesirable surf. The coastline from Huatulco south to Salina Cruz is mainly comprised of right points that are stacked nearly back-to-back with picturesque beaches. Each of these sand-bottomed points has its own characteristics.
There is a point to suit every style of surfer, from the tube enthusiast to shortboarders and longboarders. The bulky headlands and curves of the coast allow for different waves to work on different winds making it rare to find undesirable conditions

Punta Escondida Surf tours operate in the Salina Cruz region of Southern Mainland Mexico. This coastline is perfectly situated to pickup long period south swells generated through April-October, with consistent head high plus surf on offer.
Accommodations
Located in the town of Salina Cruz, the camp is a short drive from the nearest surf spots and is fully air conditioned with a central dining area and 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom sleeps up to 3 or 4 people and has a private bathroom, cable TV and DVD Player. All your meals are served in a common dining area with an outside bar. They also have a pool table, ping pong table, and an inside and outside lounge area where you can watch TV and movies. If you want to relax after a long day of surfing, you can take a dip in the newly built pool, or lounge in one of the hammocks strung up in the shade. The entire camp is also wired with High Speed Wi-Fi.
Meals
Punta Escondida has selected the best Mexican and Oaxaca food dishes done every day by our Top Chef Doña Xochitl, Meals are prepared with the freshest local ingredients, Special care goes into the preparation of very meal so We give our guests the best quality food, with a wide selection of fresh meats, seafood and vegetables.
Vegetarian meals are also available, so please let us know your specific requests for meals and they will make it happen.
